A development of component-specific technologies for local short-time high-temperature soldering using the electron beam and customized vacuum-compatible solder tapes.
In EBL, a technology for local short-time electron beam (EB) brazing of NI-based superalloys is being developed in cooperation between Euromat GmbH, Listemann AG and the TU Bergakademie Freiberg, the Institute of Materials Technology (IWT). In parallel, a brazing material suitable for this purpose is being constructed in a novel application form as tape or brazing preform as well as adapted composition.
This project is funded by the Central Innovation Project SME (BMWi) R&D Cooperation Project of Companies and Research Institutions (ZIM-KF).
